I graduated from South Florida Community College with an A.A. in Elementary Education in 1999.  I continued on to Warner Southern College where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Minor in Psychology in 2001.  I obtained my Masters Of Arts in Education at University of South Florida at the Sarasota County in 2006.

This is my 9th year teaching at North Wauchula Elementary School.  I taught 2nd grade for 4 years, 3rd grade for 3 years and Kindergarten for 2 years now.

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  I was placed in a foster home at three days old.  My foster mom adopted me at 2 1/2 years old.  My mom and I moved to Lake Placid my freshman year in high school.  She passed away my senior year from cancer.

After college, I worked at Florida Ridge Big Brothers and Big Sisters as a Case Manager.  When I decided to learn sign language,  I became apart of the Story of Jesus family as an interpreter.  I met my husband at the Story of Jesus.

We got married in November 2002 and are happily married after almost 14 years.  We have three boys William 8, Timothy 6, and Trent 4.
